    Quietly they sleep
    Somber roots gravely buried
    Sacred comes the spring

Happy Holidays! 🙂 Peace, Uncle Tree

Thank you for taking me along with you on your winter time journey. I love winter time for as many reasons as I don’t.

Your photography has reminded me of how trees in protective mode during winter give us the opportunity to observe the character of each tree.

Thanks, Phil. The trees remind me of myself in these days of getting older, weaker, and hurt. Thanks, Jim Date: Sun, 15 Dec 2013 13:49:22 +0000 To: indiafitz@msn.com

    Phil,

I like the birch trees especially. In northern India , there is a similar tree: they call it the “ghost tree”.
