    I love trees during all seasons and with leaves gone trees during winter reveal their distinctive character. I enjoy seeing this. There is a nice sized single tree at the center of the wetlands to the rear of our property. Winter time, with all the rear trees leafless, we get a good look at this tree.

    Consider this stretch. With all we have learned about relationships between living things, I like to think it’s possible a tree might enjoy it’s leaf-free winter look, admiring itself via shadows on the ground or on a building wall. “Hey, my new growth looks pretty good” !
