“O fateful flower beside the rill– The Daffodil, the daffodil!”

Jean Ingelow

A house with daffodils in it is a house lit up,
whether or no the sun be shining outside.

~ A.A. Milne

Daffy-down-dilly came up in the cold, Through the brown mould Although the March breeze blew keen on her face, Although the white snow lay in many a place.

Anna B. Warner

A host of golden daffodils; Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

William Wordsworth

    Hi Phil,

Thanks for the bright flowers… Yes, we have some in our yard. I recognize the second one – Cox. I was just there on Saturday for training. Did you see the big round planters behind the hall with tulips about to burst forth?! Another trip and opportunity for you!
